The hotel Jaz Soma Beach is situated approx. 100 m from the hotel´s own sandy beach. At the beach, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge available. The tourist centre is about 50 km away. The town Hurghada is around 50 km away (Luxor around 260 km, Cairo around 550 km). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 50 km away. The airport (HRG) is approx. 52 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). Another airport (RMF) is located approx. 190 km away.

Partially renovated in 2022, the 4-storey resort has 433 rooms, and spread over one main building and 6 adjoining buildings. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 12 lifts, an air conditioning, a safe (for free), a coiffeur, a shop, a parking area (for free) as well as a money changing facility.
