MATEMWE LODGE

Located on an outcrop on Zanzibar's northeast coast, this relaxed lodge is the ideal place for a relaxing get-away. Guests can enjoy snorkelling and diving or just unwind by the pool or the sea. Guests can also enjoy day trip to Stone Town which is just an hour's drive from the premises. The guest accommodation comprises 12 comfortable chalets, all of which feature a private veranda with views over the Indian Ocean, bathrooms with large bathtubs and walk in showers, and Wi-Fi. The lodge has an open-air restaurant which serves a range of dishes, including freshly caught local seafood. There is also a poolside bar where guests can enjoy freshly-mixed cocktails. The lodge features a multi-level swimming pool where guests can relax as they look out over the ocean. It is possible to swim in the sea at high tide, or walk around the coral reefs at low tide.
